Nutrition is in direct connection to how we think, feel and look but also our mind influences the way we think, feel and look.

My approach to health is holistic meaning that I look at your present problems or conditions as a result of not only your eating habits but also psychological make-up and certain beliefs in conscious and unconscious mind.

The psychological issues and concerns are of prime importance in people who wish to lose weight and for some reason either fail to do so or put it back on when they achieve their goal.

However, once they discover the reasons behind their overeating, unconscious reasons for excess weight and the vicious cicle of eating disorders and emotional overeating, the stumbling blocks to the healthy weight and peace with yourself are removed and the progress quickly follows.

Nutrition is virtually important in every area of our life and at any particular time that we are going through!
The right nutrition keeps us energetic, positive and healthy. However, treats are good once in a while and necessary to avoid overeating and the problems linked with the dietary restraint (anorexia, bulimia and emotional overeating).

If you are after serious results in sport, it is absolutely vital to get the right nutrition.

If you want to have healthy children, it is also necessary to get the right nutrition during pregnancy and lactation and of course have the knowledge how to feed your kids (and your beloved husband too) to help them achieve their full potential!

If you are suffering from PMS or menopausal symptoms and life seems to be unbearable because of it, the symptoms can be approached through the sound nutrition!

However, the journey to health of those with emotional overeating and eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia is a more difficult one but recovery and life without food addiction is possible.

My Journey To Health and My Book

My journey to health has been a long one. I went from having an eating disorder to finally living in harmony with myself and my body. My journey to health has been a long one. I went from having an eating disorder to finally living in harmony with myself and my body.

I am a nutritionist but also specialise in the psychology and treatment of eating disorders. In addiction to degree in nutrition, I also hold some other diplomas in areas such as psychology of eating disorders, alcohol and drug addiction studies and family/relationship matters.

As a result of certain life experiences I wrote a book called “Newly Born: How to Succeed at The Mental Game of Losing Weight”, which was published by London Press.

It explores the relationship between mind, body and soul and looks at these three components working in harmony when the person is healthy.

“Newly Born” discloses the unconscious reasons and motives behind the weight problem and why we have such a hard time losing weight and why for some of us it is actually comfortable to be overweight. It invites you to explore the reasons behind your overeating and as a result a weight problem, emotional overeating and eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.

The book shows the paralells between emotional overeating, eating disorders and relationship addiction and of benefit to those who are at present in difficult and dysfunctional relationships.

It gives hope and inspiration to those who are still seeking their way to a slim body, life without food addiction and harmony with themselves.

This book is a tool to help you work on yourself, find the road to a healthy weight and life without food addiction!

I do believe that if we want and ready to change, wonderful things can be achieved! I have seen it work on myself and others!
